What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is 4:00 pm and Check out is 10:00 am.
Do I need a 4 wheel drive to get to the cabins?
No, as long as the roads aren't covered in ice. All the roads to the cabin are paved and not terribly steep or curvy (it is the mountains; there are hills and curves but nothing bad, just follow the directions I send you before check-in)
Is there internet? Where can I find the Wifi Password?
There is internet. Each cabin has a verizon 4g wifi card. The wifi password is located on the refrigerator in each of the cabins.
Does the cabin have a coffee maker?
Yes all the cabins have standard coffee makers (not K-cup). They all take standard round flat bottom filters.
Are linens provided?
Yes! The cabins will be furnished with sheets and towels for your stay. The housekeepers furnish towels based on the number of guests provided with your rental. If you plan on using the hot tub and want extra towels we ask that you bring your own. A washer and dryer is available at each cabin as well.
What supplies are furnished?
Each cabin will be furnished with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing, and laundry detergent.
What supplies are in the kitchen?
Each cabin has a very well equipped kitchens. Pots, pans,bakeware, cooking utensils, blender, hand mixer, even a crock pot are all provided. You should have everything you need but the food.
Is there a grill?
Each of the cabins has a charcoal grill.
Is there a fire pit?
A Walk in the Woods 2 has a chiminea and seating for four around it.
A Walk in the Woods 4 has a fire pit but due to open burn laws it is not available from mid October-May 15 with out a permit (we know that's ridiculous).
Where is the closest grocery store?
There is a Kroger and a Publix on the corner of 321 and the parkway (about 6 miles or 12 minutes away).
How far are the cabins to the parkway?
The cabins are about 6 miles to the parkway (about 12 minutes).
Where is the closest entrance to National Park?
The Metcalf Bottom campground entrance is the nearest entrance to the parkway.
How far is the island in Pigeon Forge from the Cabin?
6.5 miles about 15 minutes.
How far is Dollywood?
10 miles or about 20 minutes.
